Ft. Scott, KS (PRWEB) October 21, 2008 -- This expansion provides commercial printing customers with international shipping options via FedEx, UPS and other quality carriers. Most of the international shipping options offered by these carriers are now available for shipping of commercial printing products on My1Stop's award winning online printing web site. The site now features instant international shipping calculations that include many of the tariffs and local taxes required for delivery of commercial printing products into other countries. This benefits customers who make and receive international shipping of commercial printing products in several ways. For shippers, the guess work is removed from estimating the total international shipping costs of their commercial printing order. For receivers, fewer international shipping orders will require them to have pre-paid checks ready for the local taxes typically assessed on international shipping of custom printing products. International shipping costs can now be instantly estimated for commercial printing shipments to Australia, Canada, Ireland, Japan, Puerto Rico and the UK simplifying the online printing and ordering process. Commercial printing customers with international shipping needs can place online printing orders anytime at www.my1stop.com.

"Our expansion into international shipping is really a significant improvement in our custom printing offering," said Michael Del Chiaro president of My1Stop.com. "We have successfully provided international shipping options for commercial printing for several years," continued Del Chiaro. "This latest expansion makes the process of international shipping much faster, much simpler and a more reliable online printing process. Now, our online printing superstore has effectively expanded its global reach for commercial printing customers," concluded Del Chiaro.

The expansion into international shipping of custom printing products is the latest in a number of recent online printing expansions by the company. In the past 90 days, the company has expanded their commercial printing offering by adding breadth and depth to their plastic cards and presentation folders offering while completing upgrades to their already award winning online printing customer experience. The company is committed to building on the success of international shipping of custom printing products.

Fort Scott, KS (PRWEB) October 14, 2008 -- My1Stop.com has recently expanded their offering to include industry specific solutions for warehouse and distribution centers that present several options for printing solutions and products. Fulfillment centers (FC's) and distribution centers (DC's) can now instantly price and securely order critical supplies ranging from duplex shipping labels and packing slips to integrated label sheets to thermal transfer ribbons and more from a single source. Each of the warehouse supply solutions is offered with the widest array of options available. The selection of duplex labels and integrated shipping labels is the largest offering of its kind online. Further, My1Stop.com, realizing the diverse systems and unique systems used by DC's and FC's, can assist by offering a consultation to help decide which label applications would be most efficient. Warehouse supply customers can see the entire offering and get instant online pricing at www.my1stop.com.

"Our DC supply customers run some of the largest and smallest distribution centers in the world", said Michael Del Chiaro, president. "We know firsthand that supplies make a distribution center run" continued Del Chiaro. "We have more distribution critical supplies available to our customers than we've seen on any other site, anywhere. With this selection we can support the needs of any warehouse, fulfillment center or distribution center" concluded Del Chiaro.

The eight new distribution supplies are Duplex Shipping Label With Packing Slip, Integrated Sheet Labels, Fold Under Label With Packing Slip, Thermal Roll Labels, Thermal Transfer Ribbons, Laser Cut Sheet Labels, Pin Feed Computer Labels and a wide variety of custom printed labels. Fulfillment center managers can choose from dozens of stock and custom shipping labels and packing lists (packing slip labels) combinations. Some packing slip labels are also offered in single and multiple part formats. For barcoding needs, we can help FC's and DC's with both common and unique solutions compatible with inkjet, laser and thermal printers.

"The benefits of using packing slip labels and shipping label combinations is huge," said Del Chiaro. "We can share case studies with customers large and small that clearly show significant reductions in warehouse distribution costs and errors from simply combining shipping labels and packing lists into a combination label," continued Del Chiaro. "We have had many customers tell us of amazing increased productivity benefits from using a combination packing/shipping label," concluded Del Chiaro.

My1Stop.com's offering features packing slip labels that meet the labeling requirements for UPS, FedEx, USPS and most other major carriers. Many of the stock packing slip labels are compatible with major shipping software solutions including M.O.M.S™, Orderwave™, Hadley™ and many others. A minimum quantity for packing slip labels is just 1 case and same day shipment is available. All stock packing slip orders ship within 24 hours. Distribution departments and warehouse distribution centers can also opt for custom packing slip labels so that the shipping labels are configured any way the customer wants based on their needs.

Ft. Scott, Kansas (PRWEB) October 3, 2008 -- My1Stop.com launches six new product categories of custom magnets continuing the expansion of their award winning website.

The expanded offering provides customers with the benefit of ordering all of their custom magnets from a single source. Customers needing promotional magnets for business services, schools, non for profits and customers needing personal custom magnets like save-the-date magnets, can be ordered from a single, secure, award winning source. Instant online printing and pricing of this wide array of custom magnets provides additional customer benefits and separates My1Stop.com from other online printing sources for custom magnets.

"This latest expansion of our custom magnet offering gives all of our customers a one stop solution for any custom magnets," said Michael Del Chiaro, president. "We now have custom magnets in such a wide variety of sizes, shapes and materials that we can truly say we can meet any customer's need for custom magnets," continued Del Chiaro. "From custom magnets for the local pizza delivery business to custom magnets for weddings, we have what customers need," concluded Del Chiaro.

The new custom magnets can be printed in either four color process or spot colors. All four color process custom magnets are printed using photo quality digital printing output. Spot colors are printed using high quality traditional printing methods. Printing is done on 19 mil and 34 mil materials depending on the custom magnets product being ordered. (Vocus) August 28, 2008 -- The first significant answer to the market need for better fuel economy with Class A (bus style) motor homes will be launched at the annual Pennsylvania RV and Camping Show in Hershey, Pa., Sept. 10 to 14 (public days) at the HERSHEYPARK Entertainment Complex - GIANT Center℠.

The show will introduce all-new Avanti (which means "forward" in Italian) from Damon Motor Coach (Booth 513), the first motor home to be built on the W16D front-engine diesel platform from Workhorse Custom Chassis. The W16D is a 16,000 lb. GVWR diesel powered platform that is both lower and narrower than traditional class A motor home chassis, enabling lower, sleeker motor home body designs.

The initial Avanti model is 31 ½ feet long and designed to be a more fuel efficient and easier-to-drive Class A motor home. Combining a sleek, low-to-the-ground, aerodynamic design with the re-engineered Workhorse chassis, the Avanti is expected to achieve up to 70 percent better fuel economy than comparable Class A motor homes, based on internal test results.

In addition, Vice President of Avanti Sales Matt Thompson describes the Avanti's drivability as "awesome." The Avanti's coach is nearly 12 inches closer to the ground than any other Class A motor home and is six inches narrower. The low center of gravity, combined with the excellent ride and handling of the Workhorse chassis, gives it "an automotive feel," said Thompson. "I think people will find it fun to drive. Certainly not like any other Class A."

The RV-enhanced W16D chassis marks the latest in a series of chassis firsts from Workhorse that have multiplied motor home choices for consumers over the past decade. It will be on display at Workhorse Booth G by the GIANT Center along with the 2009 Chevy Workhorse Class C platform with best-in-class towing capacity.

The W16D also marks the first appearance of the MaxxForce™ 5 V6 diesel engine from Navistar International Corporation (NYSE: NAV) in a motor home. The MaxxForce 5 is mated to an Allison 1000 Series transmission and produces 200 horsepower and 440 ft.-lbs. of torque. Other key W16D features that enhance the drivability and manageability of the motor home include high-performance Brembo 4-wheel disc brakes, 50-degree wheel cut and electronic instrument cluster with full instrumentation and information center.

Leading edge technology makes the MaxxForce 5 a "clean diesel" engine that improves both emission levels and fuel efficiency. That and the relatively light weight of the Workhorse chassis both contribute to the Avanti's fuel economy and payload capacity.

That capacity means the Avanti can put diesel class storage and amenities into a smaller motor home, enabling owners of larger motor homes to conveniently downsize. Thompson calls the storage space on the Avanti "phenomenal." ''Our 31 1/2-foot model has as much storage than a comparable 37-foot coach,'' he said. ''We worked hard to utilize every square inch.''

A walk-around queen bed, split bath layout, large screen TV and curvaceous nautical interior styling are some of the diesel-class luxury and amenities packed in the coach, making it "a great choice for both a first-time...

Port Orford, OR (PRWEB) July 28, 2008 -- According to a study conducted by the Federation of American Scientists, 45 million homes have video-game consoles. Experts with the National Education Association, along with software companies, see the use of gaming devices as beneficial in the classroom, not just home entertainment. Parents and teachers have long viewed video games as a corrupting force rather than an educational tool, but, as a new generation of parents see the educational benefits of video games, educational gaming is becoming a trend.

Jayel Gibson, author, educator and video game advocate, supports the use of video games as an educational tool to spark creativity in kids of all ages. An adjunct professor at Southwestern Oregon Community College, and a popular fantasy author, she often discusses gaming in the classroom and using video games for creative purposes. Gibson's years spent gaming served as an inspiration for her novels, including her newest book "Quondam" (Synergy Books, May 2008, ISBN 978-1-933538-83-9, $14.95).

"Gaming has enormous potential as a teaching tool," says Gibson, an elementary school teacher for over 15 years with two Teacher of the Year awards for her use of technology in the classroom. "Too many people have labeled video games as a negative influence, but as a member of the gaming community and teacher, I have seen video games used to teach as they entertain."

Gibson says learning does not just come from the video games designed specifically for education, some of the most effective teaching video-game genres are management, role-playing and strategy. These types of games offer opportunities to develop new learning strategies, problem solving and real-life skills with built-in skill leveling.

Aware of the ongoing debate concerning video games and education, Gibson incorporates her own gaming experiences in the fourth installment of her "Ancient Mirrors" series. Continuing to weave elements from her gaming experience, "Quondam" follows Cwen of Aaradan, who falls through a mysterious portal into Quondam and must battle to unseat the evil wood nymph queen. "Quondam" received the 2008 National Indie Excellence Award in the fantasy and sci-fi category.

Gibson is an accomplished author who often appears at conferences, including Wordstock and the South Coast Writers Conference.
Fort Myers FL (PRWEB) July 15, 2008 -- Reliabilityweb.com, an online community of maintenance and reliability professionals and the organizer of PdM-2008 Predictive Maintenance Technology Conference, announced today that early registrations for the September conference are exceeding the pace of all previous years and that another sold-out event is expected.

According to conference organizer and reliability expert Terrence O'Hanlon, CMRP, "Some companies are waking up to the incredible value that can be delivered through proactive maintenance programs while the laggard companies are still focused on "cost cutting" their way to profitability. PdM-2008 includes training workshops and case studies that provide a roadmap that attendees can use to put their company in the top 20% performance category. Earnings per share are directly affected by maintenance and reliability practices for each asset intensive company."

O'Hanlon stated that Reliabilityweb.com research shows that the top performing 20% share three common traits:
•	A senior level executive is directly responsible for plant asset maintenance and reliability
•	Proactive strategies such as predictive condition based maintenance and reliability-centered maintenance have largely replaced reactive and time based maintenance strategies
•	Use of advanced technologies to monitor and report leading key performance indicators (KPIs) across the enterprise with all stakeholders in real time

"Senior executives who may not fully understand predictive maintenance technologies like Vibration Analysis, Infrared Thermography, Ultrasonic Detection, Motor Testing or Oil Analysis can relate to the way a modern doctor performs diagnostic tests using stethoscopes, thermometers, blood tests and EKG's on a patient to determine overall health. When you have millions of dollars deployed in manufacturing assets, you must be able to know the plant asset health condition at all times. Predictive Maintenance (PdM) technologies deliver on that promise" continued O'Hanlon.

"With the US Dollar at a historic low against currencies like the Euro, management can no longer keep their heads in the sand about available maintenance strategies,' urged O'Hanlon, "We have seen the affect of "reactive" and "fire fighter" maintenance as some our largest US companies fall into the hands of overseas competitors who use proactive technology to increase production and uptime while lowering overall operating costs."

The Predictive Maintenance Conference is being held September 15-18 at the Qwest Center in Omaha Nebraska, the same location as the recent US Olympic swimming trials.

It has developed a reputation as "the place to be" for maintenance and reliability professionals seeking an opportunity to begin or restart an effective predictive maintenance and machinery condition monitoring program. Workshop and conference seats are still available.
Dublin, OH (PRWEB) June 4, 2008 -- A husband's love of the outdoors and his wife's passion for helping others is the recipe for an extraordinary Web site, which features adaptive hunting and fishing equipment for people with disabilities.

AdaptiveOutdoorsman.com "was fate," said Renee Error, president of the company that she and her husband, Mike, launched recently. It's also the couple's first venture in e-commerce.
The inspiration for the company (http://adaptiveoutdoorsman.com/index.html) belongs to a 16-year-old boy with muscular dystrophy - the nephew of a friend of Mike Error, vice president of AdaptiveOutdoorsman.com.

"He would sit in his home at this huge picture window and watch the deer. And one of his wishes was to go deer hunting," recalled Error. So Mike Error and his close friend, the teenager's uncle, decided to take the youth hunting.

After struggling to get the teenager and his wheelchair to a suitable hunting site, they quickly discovered the youth had too little strength in his arms to hold a rifle.

"They tried several methods and none of them worked," Renee Error explained. "And that's what got us thinking."

A search of the Internet revealed lots of small businesses, and some not so small, manufacturing adaptive gear - some of it better than others. But one thing missing altogether, she said, was a place to go "one-stop shopping."

"After talking and thinking about this, we decided that this was a business perfect for us." It fit well with her husband's love of hunting and fishing, and the outdoors, she said. And for her, a stay-at-home Mom for many years, and an avid school and community volunteer, it was an ideal way of helping others.

The couple did a trial launch of their Web site to test the waters and the results were gratifying for them, as well as for those who bought products from them.

Renee Error has heard from people as far away as Georgia and Texas, including a right-arm amputee who gave up fishing until he learned of the Web site and purchased an adaptive harness that allows him to fish again.

Many of their customers, Error said, had abandoned fishing or hunting because of their disability. They either had no idea that adaptive equipment was available or they didn't know where to look, she said.

AdaptiveOutdoorsman.com features dozens of pieces of adaptive gear and Renee Error said she and her husband are constantly searching for more equipment to place on their site.

In addition to helping outdoor enthusiasts with disabilities, she said she believes the Web site may help small manufacturers with great products.

Unfortunately, some of those manufacturers close shop after a year or so because they don't know how to market themselves. AdaptiveOutdoorsman.com, she said, can help them too, by providing a marketing venue.

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) June 3, 2008 -- The International RoboGames returns to San Francisco for its fifth year of hosting robot builders, engineers, scientists, and ordinary garage builders from around the world as they go for the laser-etched gold, silver, and bronze medals! Come to RoboGames for three solid days of mechanical sportsmanship, gearhead mayhem, and all the things your mom told you to never, ever do with science.

Hundreds of participants, vendors, cool workshops, nifty exhibits and people just like you who have bent, engineered, tweaked, fiddled and built their way to the Olympics Of Robots!

"We're really excited about our fifth year," said David Calkins, co-founder of the event. "The best part of the event is seeing all the different robot builders sharing notes. High-school drop-outs talking to PhD's, little kids holding their own against 40-year old engineers - it's an incredible meeting of the minds."

This year's event hosts 59 different competitions, including 8 different events just for walking humanoids. The venue is divided into two areas - the south hall devoted to the humanoids, soccer bots, and autonomous AI robots, while the north hall is devoted to large scale combat robots fighting to the death behind bulletproof glass, thrilling the crowd with crashing, smashing, flame-throwing, and miscellaneous wanton destruction. People who have only seen robot events on TV are universally awed when they see it first hand.

But humanoids and combots aren't the only events! Come for the combots, stay for the soccer bots, sumo bots, hockey bots, fire fighting competitions, autonomous explorer bots (like the Mars Rovers!), art bots, bar tending robots, "Iron Man" style exoskeleton weight lifting suits, and mechanical marvels that defy description. Explore the amazing world of science, math and engineering, or just cheer on the combat mayhem with a good seat and a cold beer.

As much of a sport as it is a show, RoboGames is the world's largest open robot competition. "We really put no limits on the builders. There are organizations just for High Schools or University students, but RoboGames lets absolutely anyone compete. But that doesn't mean the robots aren't awesome. We get the finest androids from Japan, Korea, the US and elsewhere. There's this amazing contingent from Brazil every year that compete all day and party all night. I don't know how they do it."

The audience sits transfixed as 340 combat robots will flip their opponents 15 feet into the air, breath fire, and spin blades so lethal they can cut through one-inch thick steel like butter. "Kids build robots, adults build them, and even retirees compete. Like the human olympics, this event allows anyone to compete, not discriminating by race, nationality, age, education, gender, or even carbon-base..."

Friday is the "Judd-Feldstein-Bruce Free Kids Day" (no admission charge for organized school groups), for kids from all over the bay area to come and see the future! Robot Combat and Robot Soccer will begin in full force at noon. At 6pm, they close the venue to the general public, for the press, VIP and builder party, sponsored by Servo Magazine (the premier magazine of robots) and Lagunitas Brewing Company.

RoboGames is thrilled to again fill up the spot on the water at the Festival Pavilion in historic Fort Mason. Join the crowds and the fun at RoboGames 2008!

Facts at a glance:
* Date: Friday-Sunday, June 13-15, 2007
* Time: Noon - 10 PM.
* Where: Fort Mason Festival Pavilion, San Francisco California
* Cost: $20/adult, $15/kids... To read the press release in full goto http://www.prweb.com/releases/2008/6/prweb989434.htm

Tempe, AZ (PRWEB) April 10, 2008 -- In one day, athletes from around the world will swim 2.4-miles, bike 112-miles and run a full 26.2 mile marathon, in succession, as they compete in the Ford Ironman Arizona. This grueling, yet inspiring event is taking place in Tempe, Arizona (www.tempecvb.com) on April 13, 2008.

Ford Ironman Arizona has become extremely popular with nearly 2,000 athletes competing each year. It is anticipated to generate more than $4.5 million in economic impact for Tempe as both athletes and their friends and families travel to Tempe to provide support and encouragement for their favorite competitor.

With the swim course in Tempe Town Lake, the adjacent Tempe Beach Park and the Mill Avenue bridges provide perfect views of the swim. The transitions to the bike course and marathon course take place at Tempe Beach Park. Because both of these courses are loops, there are many opportunities to see the athletes along the roadways and throughout Tempe Beach Park.

The Ford Ironman Arizona Athlete Village will be set up in the park prior to and during the event. It features sponsor and merchandise booths and provides a gathering place for athletes and spectators to enjoy Tempe entertainment.

With 330 days of sunshine annually, an enviable climate, the lake and parks, Tempe is a natural fit for this event. A variety of Tempe entertainment, activities for athletes and spectators means a great time before and after the big event. The Mill Avenue District, with more than 100 restaurants, shops and cafes, is located just south of the Ford Ironman Arizona festivities. Nearby parks and mountain preserves provide easy access to outdoor recreation in the scenic Sonoran desert, such as hiking, biking or picnicking. And, Tempe entertainment centers such as Arizona Mills and Tempe Ma
